What Happens After I Submit My Order?

Once you submit your order through ShopFlawlessDiamonds.com, an authorization hold will be placed on your credit or debit card for the total purchase amount.

This authorization verifies that your card is valid and that you have sufficient funds to complete the transaction. The amount is held by your bank but not yet transferred to us until your order is verified and prepared for shipment.

We typically capture the funds and ship your order within 48 hours of purchase. However, depending on the type of jewelry (especially custom or made-to-order pieces), fulfillment may take up to 2–3 weeks. You will receive regular updates via email on your order status.


How Long Does a Credit Card Authorization Last?

A standard credit card authorization remains active for approximately 7 business days. During this period, we can β€œcapture” the funds to complete your order.

If the authorization period expires before we capture payment, the transaction becomes void and the funds are automatically released back to your account. This usually occurs within 3–5 business days, depending on your card issuer.

If your order cannot be processed within that time frame (for instance, if an item is backordered or custom-made), we will contact you directly to reauthorize payment.


Verification & Extra Verification

To protect both our customers and our business from fraudulent activity, all orders go through our verification process before being approved for shipment.

In certain cases, an order may be sent to Extra Verification for additional security checks. During this process, you may be asked to provide:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or passport).

  • The credit card used for the purchase (showing only the last 4 digits).

  • In some cases, a photo of yourself holding both items (an example will be provided in the verification email).

This process ensures that the person placing the order is the legitimate cardholder.

We do not store these identification documents on our public servers. They are securely attached to your customer profile for verification purposes only and to streamline future orders.


How Long Will It Take to Receive My Order?

  • Standard Items:
    Most in-stock jewelry pieces are processed and shipped within 48 hours and typically arrive within 2–5 business days (depending on your location and carrier).

  • Custom or Special Orders:
    Custom-made or personalized jewelry may take up to 2–3 weeks to produce and deliver, depending on the complexity of the design.

If you need an item by a specific date or would like to expedite shipping, please include a note at checkout or contact us directly at info@shopflawlessdiamonds.com. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.


Order Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change, and you may need to cancel an order.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • You may request to cancel your order and receive a full refund if your order has not yet entered the production or shipping stage.

  • Once production begins or the order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer eligible for a full refund.

  • In these cases, a 15% restocking fee and any shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Custom Orders and Layaway Purchases

Custom jewelry and layaway orders are not eligible for cancellation or refund once production begins.
Please review your Custom Jewelry Agreement or Layaway Policy (if applicable) for details regarding deposits, design changes, and production timelines.

  • Orders are processed Monday–Friday (excluding holidays).

  • All items are inspected and quality-checked before shipment.

  • Tracking information will be emailed once your order is dispatched.

  • Please ensure that your billing and shipping addresses match your card information to avoid processing delays.
